Mailserver Relay-Test per Telnet

Durch Zufall drauf gestoßen: Während die meisten online Relay-Checks eine Registrierung fordern, kann man bei mail-abuse.org (Anscheinend von Trend Micro übernommen) per Telnet einen Check anfordern.

Per telnet relay-test.mail-abuse.org 25 kann – vom zu prüfenden Mailserver selbst aus – ein Test initiiert werden, der Verlauf sieht dann in etwa so aus:
